Repair: the four classic failures

The strap frays and snaps — the cheapest and most common fix. The curtain comes off its guides or loses slats after wind or a forced attempt; we re-track and replace slats. The motor ages: condensers weaken, end-limits drift, and one day the shutter stops half-way; we replace motors of every major brand. The axle and springs wear on older manual models — often the moment to consider motorisation.

Motorisation of existing shutters

Most manual shutters can be motorised without changing the curtain: a tubular motor slides into the existing axle, wired or radio controls replace the strap, and optional timers simulate presence during holidays — a real burglary deterrent. Count half a day per shutter.

New installations

Renovation or new build, we supply and fit complete roller shutters: PVC for budget and insulation, aluminium with foamed slats for durability and security, with anti-lift locks against forcing from outside.
